Also, it is the most capricious of the Latin-American dances. The short, temperamental steps present a wonderful opportunity for couples to display their rhythmical and technical ability, and the catchy music is a constant inspiration for new improvisations. Although the Cha-Cha is often described as a capricious dance, it demands, on the other hand, great precision and very exact footwork. Like the Cha Cha, the Twist was greeted with great en-thusiasm by dancers everywhere. Moreover, the Twist is not merely danced in ballrooms, night clubs and at dance parties, but in fact virtually celebrated!
