This cake server is made from local cherry wood and then oiled. Oiling gives cherry wood its characteristic reddish color and brings out its distinctive grain even more clearly. To ensure that you can enjoy this product for a long time, please note the following: If the oiling wears off due to use and cleaning, rub the item with hot vegetable oil (tasteless) or paraffin oil (medical white oil, paraffinum (per)liquidum). Leave it to soak in overnight and rub off any excess oil. Repeat this treatment regularly in the future. Wood is a natural material and can crack under extreme conditions. For this reason, do not leave the item in water for long periods of time. Instead, clean it thoroughly on all sides with warm water and scouring powder. Then stand it upright and allow it to air dry.
