Hungary, at the beginning of the next decade. The government is preparing for elections, but they are becoming very uncomfortable with the new counter-terrorism unit, set up at a cost of billions of euros, but not doing anything of substance. But then an assassination attempt shakes Budapest, which has been living its peaceful days. The police gather strength and go after the terrorists. Meanwhile, the head of one of the district police stations, Péter Básti, who has been recruited from the countryside, is struggling with everyday life. The lazy detectives, the lack of money and the constant, self-serving checks by the top management are slowly eating away at his nerves. In this situation, it is just icing on the cake that his brother is also involved in a serious case. The Lieutenant Colonel has to play tactics to stay a policeman, but he can‘t leave his brother in the lurch. He starts his own investigation to see if he can lend a helping hand to his brother. The threads are winding up, and it‘s no longer clear who‘s on which side. Budapest has been in terror since the terrorist attack, the city is going mad, and there are bomb hoaxes all over the place. How does a former police officer end up on the side of crime? Why is an Iraqi student being murdered? And most importantly, will there be another bombing?
