Sean Ericksen actually gets a date. With his car in the shop, Nancy drives him downtown to a Fleetwood Mac concert and they have good time. When leaving the venue, there is such a traffic jam that it takes them an hour to go half a mile, another hour to go that far again. Seeing an empty road, Nancy takes it, knowing a shortcut.
